The Extrasport Infant/Children's Type II PFD comes in two sizes: Under 50 lbs. & 50-90 lbs. A great value in a basic Children's Type II vest developed to provide high flotation and head support for infants and small children. Type II Life Jackets are specifically designed to turn a child over and float them chest-up instead of face down. The design features a 2-piece foam collar that cradles and supports the head and a grab loop to aid in pulling them quickly from the water. The adjustable leg straps with a single-buckle connection make getting the vest on and off a snap and prevents the jacket from riding up.

The Astral Otter Kids' PFD is a comfy and environmentally friendly jacket for kids. Side "flotection" pads protect the ribs and abdomen from impact and the front buckle system makes it easy to put on. Finally a PFD that kids want to wear! A classic Astral design made specifically for our kids with the comfort of Organic Kapok. Kapok (Ceiba pentandra) is a tropical tree native to tropical countries on 3 continents. The word is also used for the fiber obtained from its seedpods. See above photo! The fibre is light, very buoyant, resilient, and resistant to water. The process of harvesting and separating the fibre is labour-intensive and manual. It cannot be spun but is used as an alternative to down as filling in mattresses, pillows, upholstery, teddy bears and for insulation. It was previously much used in life jackets and Astral has reintroduced this fiber to their modern line of PFDs.
